Musician Brian Eno once said he creates music in a painterly fashion. Well, I create art in a “Brian Eno-ly” fashion. That is, in my art I employ many of the techniques Eno has used on albums he produced for Roxy Music, David Bowie, himself, and others. Techniques such as letting in randomness, turning mistakes into assets, following an unstructured path, etc. By using these methods, I achieve a sense of freedom and surprise that would not be possible under a more restrictive regimen.
